In that spirit I just want to linger and get lost in some inspiring work.
There is always that constant need to not get,
“lost in translation,” and simply touch you somehow from afar.
Yet at the same time the need to get lost in you.

One of my favourite movies, but that's not what your journal is about, I guess...

Art talks to art, like people talk to people. Taking an inspiration or an idea and developing that is more like continuing a conversation than just repeating someone else's words. It isn't wrong to get your ideas or inspiration from other art, as long as you do your own thing with it. Ultimately art isn't in the what (the idea), but in the how.
